Real Washington with Veteran Foreign Correspondent David Andelman

David Andelman, a longtime foreign correspondent and currently a contributor to CNN who has worked in 84 countries, joins cohosts Richard Levick of LEVICK and Michael Zeldin of That Said with Michael Zeldin on CommPRO. David is a chevalier of the French Legion of Honor, author of a number of books including “A Red Line in the Sand: Diplomacy, Strategy, and the History of Wars That Might Still Happen” and host of the podcast by the same name. He formerly was a correspondent for The New York Times and CBS News in Europe and Asia. David discusses a number of foreign policy issues including the fact that all but lost in the noise of Russia’s “drumbeat of war” on Ukraine is an even more pressing warning siren — getting Iran back into the agreement that would keep it from building a nuclear weapon; the forthcoming French elections; global warming; and French President Emmanuel Macron’s relationship with Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
