Recovering from the Greatest Sacrifice

Bonnie Carroll, former senior official in the Reagan and Bush White Houses, lost her husband, Brigadier General Tom Carroll, in a military aviation crash. From her grief and recovery, she founded TAPS – the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, which has gone on to win numerous awards. A recipient in 2015 of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, she is an extraordinarily gifted spokesperson on grief, death, recovery, hope and joy. She makes you feel better just by listening.
