Over the years, we have worked to create powerful media platforms – a Forbes column, blog, eBooks, broadcasts, webcasts, this weekly newsletter (distributed to over 20,000 readers), and now a regular podcast called Real Washington – that provides a respectful forum to discuss timely issues.
Our aim has been to provide opportunities where thought leaders can discuss important issues with all their subtleties in a safe and conducive environment. We hope we have achieved this with Real Washington, to be released in early June.
Not shying away from controversial issues, we started the first broadcast with a discussion of the #MeToo movement with Deborah Kelly, a partner at Manatt and a longtime leader on Labor & employment issues, and Nicole Lamb-Hale, a Managing Director in Business Intelligence and Investigations at Kroll and a former Assistant Secretary of Commerce in the Commerce Department.
Forty minutes is hardly enough time to address issues this big, but it gives us a start with straightforward advice, some difficult questions, and a little humor. Exactly what we hoped for in a podcast. We have two short previews below which we hope you will enjoy.
Stay tuned and happy listening.
