It was really difficult to pick my favourite talk / speech. What you’ll see in Jim Carrey’s commencement address resonates with me in so many ways.
It may be helpful for you to know that for many years I’ve wanted to be a full-time self employed Speaker / Performer and since I didn’t accomplish this before I turned 30, I gave myself 11 more years (trying to reason with excuses such as you got a family to provide for, what if you won’t be able to pay the mortgage, what if you fail ….)
But the desire and burning question was always, what if you could have been amazing.
So finally in January 2020 I made the step, just a month before Covid-19 and like so many other performers, the engagements on my calendar vanished into thin air.
For that and so many other reasons, this speech resonates, encourages and entertains like only a master presenter could do.
