George Tamburino is a public relations professional who graduated from American University in 2019, with a degree in International Relations, and a minor in Spanish Translation. Throughout his time in D.C., George has interned for two members of Congress, Foreign Policy magazine, and a boutique consulting firm in Arlington, VA. After completing his undergraduate studies, George worked as an Account Manager for DCI Group, where he handled opposition research, vetting, policy analysis, and strategic communications for a Fortune 100 telecom company, multiple trade organizations, and a multinational law firm engaged in an international arbitration dispute.

Most recently, George has worked as an Account Executive for MWWPR in the agency’s Washington, D.C. office. At MWW, George works within the corporate communications practice for some of the agency’s largest clients, providing comprehensive media relations services. These include pitching journalists, proactive outreach, and creating op-eds, with notable placements in The Hill, USA Today, CNBC, and The Diplomat. In addition, George has experience drafting briefing materials, monitoring media, and conducting media training.

George has a penchant for complex research, and enjoys the challenge of translating granular topics into easy to understand messages for policymakers, or the general public. He speaks Spanish fluently, and is currently teaching himself Greek to form closer connections with his family overseas.

A native of Verona, New Jersey, when he’s not working, you can find him out and about in Washington enjoying the city’s green spaces, restaurants, and museums.
