Our IT interns do much more than make copies and answer the phones –interns at our firm work to maintain a strong IT infrastructure at a fast paced PR/Crisis firm in the middle of our nation’s capital. Our IT team works to maintain and enhance our company network as well as our blackberry exchange and active directory servers.
From contributing towards administration of a windows network to helping maintain operations of our high end equipment, you’ll gain strong experience in the field of information technology and get an opportunity to work with wonderful people.
Successful candidates must:
- Be familiar with Windows XP and Server 2003 domain operations
- Have strong communication skills
- Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently in pressure situations
- Have some experience working with networks and technology at an intermediate level.
Typical daily tasks include:
- Trouble shooting
- Setup of new computers
- Domain maintenance (new user accounts, email and database configuration, GPOs, etc.)
- Inventory and backup
- Microsoft Office application support
- Helpdesk support.
- Blackberry support
- Research of various technology solutions
