Sascha Burns

Of Counsel Sascha Burns is a highly experienced communications professional with a successful record of developing and implementing public affairs campaigns that combine strategic communications, media relations, grassroots initiatives, and direct advocacy to advance client interests.

Ms. Burns has provided counsel and directed programs for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, government agencies, trade associations, and national coalitions, with particular concentration in the health care, financial services, and telecommunications industries.

As part of her public-policy work, Ms. Burns was instrumental in obtaining Congressional backing of high-profile legislation, including passage of a $2.4 billion increase in Medicare funding and the creation of a ground-breaking health care quality initiative.

Ms. Burns has an in-depth understanding of the political process and is well-known as a political news commentator. She appears weekly on Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network and has been a frequent contributor to MSNBC;ABC, NBC, CBS, andFOXnetwork affiliates; Independent Television News; Sky News; and the BBC. She is also a frequently cited authority on political communications and strategic planning for many major U.S. publications.

Ms. Burns served as national advance staff for media operations on the Gore/Lieberman Campaign and on the personal staff of former Senator Sam Nunn. She has also been active in numerous presidential and congressional campaigns for more than two decades.

Ms. Burns graduated, cum laude, from Washington and Lee University and earned a diploma for Mastery of the Spanish Language with highest honors from the University of Valencia, Spain.
